time keeps slipping away

I got a message on Friday from the AMR guy that he would be out of town, so I should call him back Wed, today, and I did, but his voice mail said he was at 'corporate' for training and wouldn't be back until late this afternoon. So... another day of watching Court TV. I guess this is really good news, as I am totally unprepared for the test we have in A & P Tues of next week. But do we see me studying? No, we see me sitting on the sofa in a stupor drinking coffee and Slim-Fast.

I went to a therapist yesterday for my depression and anxiety. Just had an intro sort of thing. I'm going to Waterloo Counseling Center, the local glbt sliding fee scale place. As an unemployed person, I am at the bottom of the fee scale.

My 40th birthday is Easter Sunday. I'm hoping that I can spend it watching my nephew gather Easter Eggs.

I am NOT HAPPY with www.defensivedriving.com. They claim to have mailed my certificate of completion on Feb 22, yet it never arrived. Since I called about it over 30 days after I took the class, I have to pay the Tx Dept of Education $10 for a replacement copy. I have been being busy being depressed, and am really annoyed that I have to pay for the defensive driving people's failure to get me a certificate in a timely manner.

American Cemetery Magazine has an interesting article: A local tv station in Belgrade, Yugoslavia is going to start broadcasting funerals. They'll broadcast the obituaries in the morning, and the funerals in the evenings. I'm going to include that interesting tidbit in my Death & Dying class report on the National Museum of Funeral History tomorrow.
